History
In 1990, our company was founded by Cathy Howard in Indianapolis, IN and began as an IT Search and Placement firm known as MPC, Inc. We built a nationwide business on the highest standards of Integrity and Ethics in service delivery to both companies and those seeking employment change.
By year 2000, our IT placement demands grew exponentially in the Healthcare Market place and so did our requests to hire Healthcare professionals, Managers, and HIT specialists! Our response has been to be “Best of Practice” Healthcare, HIT and IT placement experts with genuine care and interest to provide premium services for the successful outcome of all parties.
We evolved to rename ourselves to MCC – Medical Career Connection, Inc. Internally, we remain a supportive, fun and dedicated team! Our nationwide operations are located in West Palm Beach, FL and Indianapolis, IN.
Our Founder
Cathy Howard, our President, has a background in Industrial Psychology and Human Resource Management with Harvard University coursework in Career Counseling, Marketing and Management. She had previously joined a prestigious 25-year old recruiting firm ranking in the top 5% nationwide, as a Recruiter, soon promoted to Recruiter/Director, and promoted again to Recruiter/Board of Directors. The firm had television presence with the TV program 60 minutes and was noted by numerous magazines for its exceptional placement methodology and on-going business management education. While there, she built a nationwide IT hiring program in 26 states.
Today, Cathy has over 25 years of business ownership in the placement industry, operates a recruiting desk full time, has held Human Resource Management positions, is an adviser to boards of directors, and continues involvement with placement industry best practices.

Our other lines of service include being industry speakers and trainers on world class placement methodologies. At Universities, we teach our “Job Lander” © course: Indiana University, IUPUI, Butler University, Palm Beach State College, and Crossroads Rehabilitation Center and others. We also provide courses: Hiring - For the Hiring Manager, Relocation, Recruitment, Retention Building and more, at medium to small organizations, and at Fortune 100 companies.
